My take: Quickbooks is the most used because its the most well known. I personally find the interface too much to look at (my eyes don’t like it), which is why I don’t use it for my firm.

Xero – A beautifully simple, cloud-based option with clean reporting and flexibility. Perfect if you want everything accessible from anywhere. Xero is what I use for my business. In my opinion its the easiest to use and ideal for all business sizes. Check it out here

FreshBooks – Ideal for service providers who prioritize invoicing and client billing. Straightforward and easy to use.

Wave – A gentle starting point for newer or smaller businesses that need basic accounting functions without the upfront cost.
